About the Author
The author of Investing in Oil & Gas: the ABCs of DPPs (Direct Participation Programs) is Kathy Heshelow. She previously authored the first book devoted solely to TIC investments entitled Effortless Cash Flow: the ABCs of TICs (Tenant in Common Investments), also considered DPPs. Kathy is a registered representative with CapWest Securities, Inc. (member FINRA, SIPC, MSRB), and has successfully completed the Series 22, Series 62 and the Series 63 examinations. Kathy works on a daily basis with direct participation programs. She is also President of Legacy Real Estate & Investments, a commercial real estate firm specializing in passive income properties (specifically NNN single tenant retail and commercial properties).
Kathy lived abroad for 16 years (Paris, France) and is widely traveled. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The American University of Paris, the oldest accredited university abroad. She published numerous articles on education while abroad.
Kathy and her husband reside on the west coast of Florida.
